Job Summary

Haley Ward is seeking a CAD Drafter/Designer to join our team in Port St. Lucie, FL. The CAD Drafter/Designer will be responsible for computer-aided design and drafting for civil-site projects, including preparing engineering drawings for permitting and construction purposes.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Work with engineers to develop drawing content and presentations.
• Analyze sketches, notes, layouts, details, and verbal instructions to complete drawings effectively.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings from vendors/suppliers to ensure compliance with design.
• Apply company CADD standards and procedures for layering, sheet layout, etc.
• Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets.
• Perform field surveys as needed.

What you will need to succeed:

• Minimum of three years of experience in Civil-Site drafting.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and plan set assembly.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in English.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required
