Haley Ward is looking for a CAD Drafter / Designer for our Portsmouth NH office. The CAD Drafter / Designer will perform computer-aided design and drafting for preparation of engineering drawings for permitting and construction purposes, including but not limited to: creation of erosion control, paving, grading, drainage, water, wastewater, signage and striping, maintenance of traffic, details, sections, plan / profiles, for Civil-Site projects.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Working with engineers and land surveyors to develop drawing content and presentations
• Analyzing sketches, notes, layouts, details, and verbal instructions to determine the best approach for completion of drawing sets
• Applying company CADD standards and procedures to sheet layouts
• Coordinating details and dimensions between drawing sheets

What you will need to succeed:

• Minimum of three years of experience in Civil-Site drafting.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and plan set assembly is required
• A working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, is required. Revit optional.
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required
