We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and constructing a wide range of infrastructure projects. This individual should have a strong background in engineering principles and be able to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

What you can expect to be doing:

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans and blueprints.
  • Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical advice and support to team members.
  • Review and approve project designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Supports project team toward preparation of a professional, economical, and effective set of plans and specifications for each individual project.
  • Conducts engineering computations to design difficult and complex engineering projects.
  • Communicates directly with governmental/regulatory staff relative to design concepts and requirements. Represents clients at regulatory agency hearings or meetings.
  • Responsible for the design concept of the plans and specifications.
  • Consults and advises field engineers, contractors, and inspectors regarding the construction phase of the project.
  • Communicates with the Project Manager on project strategy and matters that may impact the outcome of a project.
  • Assists in preparation of project proposals including scope of work, time schedule, and manpower estimates.
  • Promotes new business for the total company and for own area of expertise.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license with a minimum of 4 years of related experience required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.

A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
